We have secured Lot 274 from the Sydney Australian Easter Sale—a filly by leading stallion Too Darn Hot, offered by renowned vendors Sledmere Stud.

This stellar filly boasts an outstanding black type pedigree, along with a terrific walk and plenty of length and scope.

By Too Darn Hot, the unbeaten European Champion 2YO and Dubawi’s highest-rated juvenile. Not only a champion on the track, but now also a sire making history—no first-crop sire has ever recorded more individual Group 1 winners!

An international multiple Group 1 winner, he claimed four victories as a 2YO, including the G1 Dewhurst Stakes (1400m). As a 3YO, he secured both the G1 Qatar Prix Jean Prat (1400m) and G1 Qatar Sussex Stakes (1600m).

Already the sire of 23 stakes winners, including four-time Group 1 winner Broadsiding, along with multiple black type performers in the Northern Hemisphere.

His oldest Southern Hemisphere progeny are now 3YOs

DAM LINE: ALNAAS

This filly’s dam, Alnaas, comes from a deeply proven black type family.

Alnaas (by Not A Single Doubt) was the winner of four races from 1200m to 1600m. Her full sister, Maqsad, is Listed-placed.

She is the dam of one foal to race, her second foal is a 2YO.

The third dam, Tambour, was Group 1-placed and a Listed winner, and produced 2005 Australian Champion Older Horse, Grand Armee—a six-time Group 1 winner with 13 career wins, including three in succession and two victories in the G1 Queen Elizabeth Stakes.

The fourth dam, Voltage, is the dam of 2022 Australian Horse of the Year, Anamoe, G1 Cox Plate winner and one of the most dominant racehorses of his generation.
